muddy tracks

Hello- welcome back ! we really appreciate your enthusiastic responses about carrying on in lockdown 3... Today I have been out and about looking at all the tracks in the mud. At first the tracks can look really messy- a big pile of muddy footprints. When you look closer they start to separate out and you can see the differences between them. Pick one to follow- animal tracks and children tend to deviate from the path more than adults- but even walking in an adults footprints can open up all kinds of possibilities: is the person walking alone? with a dog? will you go forward to see where they went to or back track to see where they've come from? how many people have walked this way? Are there any signs of anmal or bird footprints? Enjoy your tracking and let us know how you got on.
