This week has got away from me a bit. I was last looking at the birds near to my home; the little egret and the black headed gull was where I was focussing my attention:
So from here, I was thinking about connection. Whilst I did find out more about the birds through drawing them, I was so struck by the connections they raised in me that I listed all the birds that resonated with me and the resonations: memories of people, places and knowledge that these birds reminded me of when I saw them...
...and that took me to thinking more about the aspects of the birds I love and what I feel when I see or hear them. From there, it was but a step to this bird blessing:
